New Motor Vehicle Registration Portal!
Good grief and Thank God. The last portal sucked. I can’t believe it lasted as long as it did. I’ve not used this one yet, but honestly I cannot believe it could be worse. Feel free to share your experiences in the comments. Any tips and tricks and “how to’s” would be great too. I know a few county treasurer offices that are quite pleasant. Meade County (at least a few years ago) was always quite polite and helpful.
Pennington County had some real issues a few years ago. I heard from several people about how rude and jerky they were. Holding on to titles for whatever reason and then threatening to call law enforcement if you argue.
Sure hope this new portal will help many of us avoid our county treasurer offices if they suck.

It was friggin torture every single year. I dreaded renewing tags because it took forever to navigate the nonsense and I would have to create a new account every year. And then, you can either click the box OR click the dd to cart thing, but Lord help you if you do both. This is what we get with the lowest bidder. The new one has to be better (crossing fingers that I’m not jinxing it).
