Why I’m Voting for Julie Frye-Mueller
A couple of years ago, many of us in the county had serious questions about how the equalization office was valuing our homes. The process felt inconsistent, and we had real concerns about fairness and integrity. Like a lot of neighbors, I decided to reach out to our elected leaders for answers and help.
I contacted Trish Ladner, Tim Goodwin, and Julie Frye-Mueller.
Trish and Tim blew us off.
Julie did the opposite. She personally emailed me, provided her personal cell number and invited me to call her. I called and she spent an hour and a half on the phone listening to my concerns, asking questions, and walking through the issues. She did the same for another neighbor — over an hour of her time. She didn’t treat us like complainers; she treated us like citizens who deserved representation.
Even after she left office, Julie kept working for us. She stayed engaged, followed up, and continued advocating for regular people dealing with government bureaucracy. That’s rare. That’s real service.
That experience is exactly why I’m voting for Julie Frye-Mueller.
I will not be voting for Amber Hulse. She has not represented me, and it’s clear she does not work for me or folks like me. When it mattered, she wasn’t there.
Leadership isn’t about titles or campaigns — it’s about showing up when people need you. Julie has shown up time and again. I’m proud to support her.
If you value a leader who actually listens and fights for taxpayers, I hope you’ll join me in voting for Julie Frye-Mueller.
